Stephen Smith went 4-for-4 with four singles and a run scored for the Cougars. (Wondering if he shares a full name with the bloviating ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith? Well, wonder no more! The Arizona Diamondbacks prospect’s middle name is James, making him Stephen J. Smith.)

Snappers LHP Zack Erwin got the win, improving to 4-2 with a 1.85 ERA through 12 starts. He gave up three runs (one earned) on nine hits and a walk, and struck out six batters in six innings.
