The St. Louis Cardinals finalized a six-year, $33.5 million deal with right-fielder Stephen Piscotty on Monday, one day after announcing they signed catcher Yadier Molina to a 3-year, $60 million contract extension.
Piscotty’s contract includes a team option for the 2023 season.
Piscotty began his pro career with the 2012 Quad Cities River Bandits, for whom he batted .295 with 4 HR and 27 RBI in 55 games. He made his major-league debut for the Cardinals in 2015.
