The Lansing Lugnuts and the Toronto Blue Jays extended their player-development contract through the 2018 season, the two clubs announced Tuesday.
The Lugnuts have been affiliated with the Blue Jays since 2005. Lansing began play as a Kansas City Royals farm team in 1996, and was affiliated with the Chicago Cubs from 1999 to 2004.
