The Great Lakes Loons and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers clinched the final two Midwest League postseason berths Sunday, completing the picture for the playoffs that begin Wednesday.

The first round of playoffs will feature the following best-of-three matchups, with the home-field advantage team listed first in each case: South Bend Cubs vs. West Michigan Whitecaps, Peoria Chiefs vs. Clinton LumberKings, Bowling Green Hot Rods vs. Great Lakes Loons, and Cedar Rapids Kernels vs. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

The second round of playoffs, also featuring best-of-three series, begins Saturday. The best-of-five Midwest League Championship Series begins Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the home of the Western Division team.
