The Kane County Cougars unveiled a team-branded specialty coffee named “7th Inning Blend,” becoming the first Minor League Baseball team with both a coffee and a beer named after it.

Created by Two Brothers Coffee Roasters, the caffeinated drink is a blend of coffees from Central and South America, combining dark chocolate and brown sugar flavors.

“We’re excited for Two Brothers Coffee Roasters’ 7th Inning Blend to be the official coffee of the Kane County Cougars,” said Jason Ebel, co-founder of Two Brothers Brewing Company, in a press release. “We are happy to offer a premium product that people who are fans of both Two Brothers and the Cougars can enjoy this summer.”

Two Brothers Brewing Company also produces the Cougars-branded beer, Raging Cougar Ale, which was unveiled last year and is available on tap again this season at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark. (You can read about the beer here.)

7th Inning Blend will be sold at concession stands during Cougars home games and will also be available for purchase by the bag in the Cougars Den team store. Fans who purchase a bag can redeem the empty wrapper at the Cougars box office for a pair of undated tickets valid during the 2016 regular season.

For the record, the photo at the top of this post is legitimate, not altered. The Cougars were recently featured on the giant electronic display that wraps around the NASDAQ building in Times Square to celebrate the official launch of 7th Inning Blend. This is the second time the Cougars have been featured on the display, with the other time being last season as a promotion for the team’s 25th anniversary campaign.
