The Timber Rattlers’ Food Fight is on!

Over the weekend I wrote about two new unique burgers being added to the food menu at Fox Cities Stadium, home of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. (Check them out here!) The team affectionately known by fans as The T-Rats isn’t done adding items yet, and they want your help deciding which one of five other unique food items should be made available this year.

The contest, called the Fans’ Choice Food Fight, includes the following selections:

The Cheesehead is described as “a juicy quarter-pound burger topped with crispy bacon, mac-n-cheese and melted smoked cheddar, served on a freshly baked split-top bun.”

The Glazed Donut Burger is part glazed donut, part bacon cheeseburger. A traditional glazed donut is grilled, “giving off a sweet aroma of sugar,” and acts as a bun covering a quarter-pound burger, crispy bacon, onions, fresh lettuce and cheddar cheese.

The Grilled Cheese Chicken Sandwich “places golden-brown chicken tenders and crispy bacon between melted American cheese and grilled to perfection. It also comes with lettuce, tomato and onion and is served with a side of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce.”

The Loaded Tater Tot Nachos combine tater tots with warm taco beef, nacho cheese, shredded Wisconsin cheddar cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes and onions, and sliced jalapeno peppers.

The Pork Donut fills a Bismarck donut with pulled pork, “allowing the sweet and salty flavors to come alive,” and is served with a side of house-made coleslaw.

You can see photos of these fan-submitted culinary concoctions, as well as vote for your favorite one, here.
