The 2016 Midwest League All-Star Game will be played at Veterans Memorial Stadium, home of the Cedar Rapids Kernels, on Tuesday, June 21.
It will be the first All-Star Game hosted by the Kernels since 2004. Cedar Rapids also hosted the MWL All-Star Game in 1974, 1979, 1981, 1985 and 1991.
Game time for the event has not been set. The Kernels say there will be a pre-game home run derby and a post-game fireworks show.
Individual tickets for the game will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, March 14.
