The Beloit Snappers will play their 35th season in 2016, and have unveiled a logo commemorating the occasion.
Beloit joined the Midwest League in 1982 as an affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, with future Chicago White Sox skipper Terry Bevington as their first manager. The team was known as the Beloit Brewers from its inception through the 1994 season, and has been known as the Snappers since then.
The Snappers were affiliated with the Minnesota Twins from 2005 to 2012, and have been an Oakland Athletics farm team since the 2013 season.
